May Trip 2005: Boissum: The People

The man who likes to be known as DesertFox was one of the first people in the hostel to start using FireFox. A very effecient trekker who 'likes' to be in the thick of things as into all those trekking gadgets, carribenas, gps etc. Owns a king size, battery sucking, mini sun ala headlamp which comes in very handy at night when you want to shit. I owe him one for getting me to the top on Gondogrolla.




Chaudry Hurree Singh Charcia Khan
An avid trekker and proponent of the wild he is a self proclaim intellectual obssessed with the nuances of reality. He broke his sunglasses during the trip yet somehow managed to keep them perched on his nose throughout. His favorite mantra while trekking in the snowfall was "I do not feel the cold, there is no cold, when the cold has passed through me all that shall remain is me" a tagline from Frank Herbert's Dune series. I owe him one for keeping me sane during the wacky philosophy courses

Chuchu The Flasssh
This guy was not even on the trip well not on the same trip but he was with us in Hunza. I like him. He looks like a cuddly langra bear after that unfortunate knee twisting accident on Concordia. His many traits include humor and a very interesting outlook on life. I wish I could have gotten to know him better. He changes the way I think about Karachittes.
